Rotary Club of Mystic Honors Area Non Profit Agencies

Recently the Rotary Club of Mystic honored non profit area agencies WARM, Martin House and The Stonington Historical Society.  The agencies were three of 24 recipients of grants and scholarships from the Rotary Club this past spring.

Rotary awards grants to area non profit agencies twice a year.  The Fall grant cycle is in progress.  Those agencies wishing consideration should write a letter to the Grants Committee Chairman, Rotary Club of Mystic, P.O. Box 153, Mystic, CT 06355.  The letter should state clearly the need for which the agency is asking support and why this grant would be important.  Letters requesting support this fall should be mailed no later than October 31.

The Rotary Club of Mystic raises money with its well known Lobster Days during the Memorial Day weekend at the Mystic Seaport.  Rotary also sells Del’s Lemonade at the Mystic Arts Festival and the Taste of Mystic.  All proceeds from these events support the clubs grant program as well as providing scholarships for area high school graduates.
